Cookies law

Since 1 June 2012 there is a new law, the telecom law. Therefore we are lawfully bound to inform the user about “cookies” and ask permission for the use of cookies. Emtra uses cookies.

What do cookies do?
Cookies are little files that mark your preferences during surfing the internet and file them in your own computer. A cookie does not file your name, address, age, nor other personal data. They just mark your preferences and interests based on your surfing behavior.

Besides these cookies, placed by ourselves, that are necessary to let our site function correctly, you could also receive cookies from other parties, that provide parts of our website. Cookies can be used, for instance, to show a certain advertisement only once.

When visiting Emtra you can expect the following sorts of cookies:

Functional cookies
Cookies that are necessary for the use of Emtra, for example to log in and mark your preferences.

Cookies for website-analyses
To keep our visitors statistics up to date, we use Google Analytics. This system marks which sites our visitors watch, where they come from, what they click on, which browser and screen resolution they use and much more. We use this information to get a better image of our visitors and to optimize our site with it. Google, that provides this service, uses the information to build a relevant, anonymous advertisement profile to better offer specific advertisements.
